IAKENTRO participates as every year in the III Pan-Italian Conference SIRU entitled “All the chances of fertility – From science to orientation” which was held in Milan at the Sheraton Hotel San Siro from 7 to 9 November 2019.
Each year, the Italian Society for Human Reproduction SIRU (Società Italiana della Riproduzione Umana) organizes this special conference dedicated to the protection of reproductive health and the treatment of infertility using medically assisted procreation.
The conference included meetings of scientists with special knowledge, such as gynecologists, endocrinologists, andrologists, urologists, biologists, geneticists and psychologists, while topics of discussion included:
1 / prevention and maintenance of fertility in relation to environmental pollution and pathological conditions (such as endometriosis)
2 / donation of gametes
3 / the role of genetics in prenatal medicine
4 / the psychological impact of the processes
5 / the possible tools available for the safety and quality of medical practice.
The stand of the IAKENTRO center was visited by eminent Italian scientists and collaborators who discussed and exchanged with Professor Nikos Prapa.
